I don't have a problem with the humor in every Marvel movie as long as it lands. Like the bus scene was perfect for me. But some of the jokes in the Eternals had bad timing or were not well executed.

 

Rumor is that Xialing will get her own D+ show. I believe she can carry a show, so this is great.

That's some crazy conspiratory thinking. Not dismissing it, but feels like it is reaching.

 

Really enjoyed this. Was very nervous at first due to the beginning having really clunky dialogue, and overall awkward pacing. Though the back half was really fun. Also was very happy to have had Ben Kingsley not spoiled for me.

 

THought this was pretty good. Felt quick to me tbh. Like I feel like we didn't really have a lot of time spent with him grappling with the idea of the rings and the eternal life that they bring and the responsibility and etc.

Wait, they're making a series based on American Born Chinese?! Gene Luen Yang is great, also did some of the earlier ATLA comics.

Yeah let him eat and get that budget for his smaller projects. Been working well for Taika

 

He also gets to play with big and expensive toys in the meantime. It’s probably a win-win in his eyes.
