Second album from London post-punks who are now rocking a lower-case name. It's a good 'un.

if this thread flops I'll look silly.

Got one full listen in so far and think Human, for a Minute is the biggest stand out. I absolutely adore the cover art.

I wasn't aware of a new album, but I love what I've from the first half. Much more immediate than the debut for me.

  8. Snow Day into Human, for a Minute is pure magic. This album is perfectly sequenced

    perfect album

the run from the end of Snow Day till the end is relentlessly good.

Love the light use of synth on this a ton, totally inspired.

not a huge fan of the drum tones or the vocal approach but there are definitely some great melodies/themes explored throughout here.

Had a chance to see these guys on NYE in the before times (pre-COVID) and didn't take it, kinda regret it now this album rips.

first listen was in a car and distracted and i was really only able to focus in on the stuff that stood out as not working. upon listening again now, what i mistook for sloppiness is actually a very controlled spastic energy. honestly getting my ass kicked by this thing second time around...
