I'm like 2-3 eps behind. Need to catch up

 

Yabushige and Blackthorne is the team up I’ve been waiting for. They have good bromance potential

The tea scene was done exceptionally well. For a brief moment, I thought that Buntaro sincerely loved Mariko, and I felt some sympathy for him. However, that all ended when Mariko responded to his request, reminding me how he only sees her as a means to fulfill his overall loyalty to the clan (and he an abuser).

Still, this is a testament to how well Buntaro’s actor (Abe) delivered.

 

IMO it’s a good show.
