Love this. You got that old head. I just finished this yesterday and don’t really have much to say that hasn’t been said. Marks wife being Casey was the biggest surprise for me
I’m two episodes in and loving this. The “therapy” scene with Irving when they read off facts about his outtie but he can’t react or share any favorability to any of the information was so fucked.
Finished the show tonight and read through this thread. It’s been a minute since I’ve watched something that truly felt like a nightmare. The inherent nature of the show allows you to be as lost as the characters and I fell for it hook, line and sinker. Each new piece of information sparks more questions and the answers that we got all were very satisfying and defied a lot of my personal expectations. Bring on season two!
I just restarted the season a few days ago and it's really rewarding to watch again knowing what's coming, lots of details I missed before because I just didn't know!!
Ok so: - Irving's outtie knows who Burt is, right? His name and information was clearly written down by his outtie, who appears to be some kind of Severance investigator/activist? - I still believe Burt is unsevered, despite the retirement party and video, I think he and Irving's outtie somehow know eachother, and thats why he is so drawn to his innie. - Gemma is in a coma? or dead? Can your outtie be dead but you live forever severed as long as you have a chip? Need S2 immediately.
I just had to check for myself to be sure because time these last two years has ceased to be a tangible thing, but yes it was indeed this year.
Great additions. I've been going through Fringe recently so it'll be fun to see John Noble in this too.
Excited for Alia. Feel dumb for not knowing any of those other names but I recognize Merritt and Bob after googling
That's got to be it, right? My only worry is that one of the great things about the first season was how small the world felt. But I trust they know what they're doing. That's an incredible lineup.
I'm sure they'll knock it out of the park again. It seemed to me like there was already a broader plan on where the story would go based on how S1 ended.
