Wellington was dread. Gemma felt it from merely seeing her outfit.

The flight room was frolic. They were testing Gemma's ability to stay calm/composed in literal turbulence. Mauer was coaching her through it, telling her to act as though nothing was going on.

Allentown was malice. They were testing Gemma's ability to not lash out in anger at Mauer.

Woe might be the one temper they've never been able to wall off.

I feel like giving a movie or show until the end of its running time to resolve its story or a detail of a running mystery is pretty standard story watching and not the final ultimatum of a unfairly frustrated and exhausted viewer.

There were a few minutes toward the beginning where I felt like the last two episodes were an actual misstep into this being a silly show after all but umm no. This is an all time great
