great article. Never thought about the need to prevent innies from gaining weight at work but now all the damn mellon makes way more sense
I feel like she gets “turned off” when she’s not needed. She mentioned how the day she supervised was the longest she’d been awake
arquette - and especially in the big scene this week - is the only part of this where the tone doesn’t seem to fit for me. otherwise love the show
I’m fully prepared for a hell of a finale that maybe sheds light on some of the main characters but answers essentially nothing about Lumon and raises like 2-3 other big questions that will slowly eat away at me until this time next year
A lot of reviews pre-release said the cliffhanger is frustrating and would have made people livid if they didn't give it a season 2
I have a hard time believing there will be anything on TV this year that will top Severance for me. What a great fucking season. That finale was stellar and I can’t wait for season 2.
Screamed when Mark said Ms. Cobel lol Generally feel like this show makes very good use of its runtime, but the 45 minute attempt to build tension here wound up feeling kinda tedious imo. Once the Helly reveal happens pretty early on nothing else really goes on there. Could’ve gone for even a minor amount exposition (or like, literally any reaction whatsoever) from Irving on the paintings, since they’re clearly connected to the office and the goo. Mark’s story was the only one that came close to filling out its portion on the runtime imo, watching him slowly get his bearings and testing the water with both his sister and Ricken was pretty great. Gonna feel like hell waiting another year for this to come back
Once Marks sister mentioned his wife I was dying hoping he’d find a picture. So glad he got the “SHES ALIVE” in at the end but was so worried he wouldn’t
