I love that there’s no preview at the end of each episode for me to see on accident. Going in blind for this show is the best way.
I am starting to think refining isn't the point and it just busy work. I think "Cold Harbor" is something else entirely.
My wife and I binged S1-the then current of S2 two weeks ago, and now we get really excited for 9pm Eastern on Thursday nights. My brain is flooded with different ideas and theories. Random Observation from S2E6... Was the kinda severe footage of the needle going into Mark's "hole" another of the many sexual overtones (some overt, some less) of this week's episode? Or just a weird coincidence?
there are so many scenes in this season that feels like all-time greats, with the actors conveying a wide range of emotions with the simplest of actions/expressions. this and the scene where Natalie reacts to Milchick receiving the paintings are my favorites of this nature.
it was mostly a comment in jest... but yeah, something else is going on. did anyone see the tattoo of one of the four tempers?
on a similar note, i compared this to the scene where Helly/Helena gets her chip and noticed the hole they drilled in her head seems a bit smaller than the one drilled in Mark's head. i can't tell if it's advancements in the procedure, wanting to be delicate with the "head" of the company, or something else, but i thought it was an interesting touch
oh hello. This is so random that I ended up in this thread for a show that I am familiar with, but definitely not overly familiar with. I hope Mark finds out what happened to his wife Hannah.
I think it's just her and Lumon viewing their employees as pawns. she's dehumanized him so even when she's giving condolences, it's this feigned act of kindness when she can't be bothered to even remember the right name
I think she’s developed an erotic fixation on Mark S. and is attempting to engage in a thruple with his innie and outtie. Lumen has henchman who can surveil employees. This is Helena being an absolute weirdo and creep and she’s over compensating by pretending she forgot Gemma’s name.
if Ms Huang was more worried about managing the floor and less worried about honing her glorious theremin skills and policing big words and paper clips, maybe shit would get done
yeah she really seems like she wants mr. milchick's desk, too. 15 years old and got her eyes on climbing the corporate ladder
My wife’s company hires fresh college grads for their management program/track so, when Mrs. Huang first appeared, it totally reminded her of her creepy 23 year old supervisors. That weird combination of youthful intensity and naivety directed into a corporate setting is unsettling, in this show and in real life.
Tweets like this make me super curious about the world outside of what we see in the show. Wonder if we’ll ever move beyond the office and the single town we’ve seen thus far.
I wonder how many people got severed specifically after listening to the Helena Eagan Joe Rogan episode.
