Does anyone else think Ricken wrote appendix four somehow and that’s the book Natalie wanted him to write? Milcheck read some of it and said the next chapter is about a nanny stealing a baby, which is what he thought happened in the season one finale. And the first chapter sounded like his writing.

I feel some kinda way for Helly R. Helena is fucking evil.

Burt is up to no good. I don’t know the endgame there but he def worked at Lumon before severance.

 

the way fields talks about it too, "with your partner at Lumon..." I mean I have a hunch that severance has been around longer than 12 years but he definitely wasn't a severed employee.

I wonder if his involvement with Lumon is why he's so sure he's going to hell?

That was the first episode I’ve caught live since I started the show last week….. the wait for the next episode already sucks.

 

I think I either missed or completely forgot (which is very likely given how long it’s been) that John Noble had been cast so when he showed up as Fields I was very excited. Love that guy. And I appreciated how nuanced that triangular relationship was over the course of one dinner. You can’t help but root for Irving and Burt’s innies, but Burt’s outtie is up to something and definitely worked for Lumon longer than he’s letting on, and now my heart breaks for poor Fields.

Helena’s going to get herself into trouble in her pursuit of Mark and I’m curious to see how that plays out now that Mark is seemingly going to be fully reintegrated. I love Helly and can only hope her arc ends with her somehow taking over Helena’s body or something.

 

people smell weird shit before seizures sometimes too though right?

 

maybe? i've never had one, so i was just going off of what i know (i.e. smelling burnt toast before a stroke). Google seems to think it happens with seizures too

 

Yeah that was definitely a seizure, not a stroke. The mouth foaming was a give away.

Good Lord I feel so sad for Dylan and his wife. That hurts..

 

And without me looking it up I don’t even remember where the reintegration lady came from or anything. Credentials. Backstory and what not. I guess I’ll look that up now.

are they ever going to go back to refining? seems like a pretty lax workplace.
