The way I’ve been thinking about reintegration is basically you have innie mark and outie mark on opposite ends of a room slowly walking to the middle where they’ll be one person with one combined memory. The line that supports this so far is the doctor lady saying “maybe innie mark remembers more” almost like he’s walking to the middle faster if that makes sense
The shot of them in the hallway talking after that and mark’s face is partially covered/blurred is great. His innie is slowly fading into his outie.
This was a def a cool down, character-focused episode after a wild one. They picked back up on and introduced some interesting things that could pay off later but I did find the cliffhanger to be a bit repetitive of what we’ve already seen and, knowing they now reserve the right to flash and then pull back Mark’s progress with reintegration for entire episodes, it didn’t hit as if they were finally guaranteeing us actual Ms. Casey and reintegrated Mark action. I hope that happens but the glitching still feels like a tease more than an actual cumulative and permanent development..
Very interesting to learn that so many of the positive changes within the severed floor were actually Milchick’s ideas
A very feel bad episode for everyone haha. Feeling especially bad for Helly. First you find out you’re a top member of the evil corporation you hate then you jump to being drowned then you jump to everyone hating you.
They all seemed awfully confused about where Irving was considering they were all standing like… right there when Milchick fired him haha. Maybe the words he chose were just too big
Feel like this episode was the first of the season that didn’t really reach the highs of everything else
Yeah. Not a bad episode by any means, but it felt like 3 & 4 were finally putting some grease on the wheels and this one almost felt like a reset. Which I might not mind if we weren’t already halfway through a season most of us have been anxiously awaiting for three years (in which they spent the first two episodes essentially just getting us up to speed). Just felt a little bit like treading water The Burt & Irv interaction was cool. I’m somewhat surprised Lumon actually told Burt the real reason he was let go
Appreciated this break in batshit craziness. After episode 4, a reset feels welcome and the fallout needed to be seen and felt. It definitely is setting up for what is the second half of the entire season.
I accidentally clicked this thread notification before watching the episode and was kicking myself because I thought it was some dramatic Ricken thing that I had accidentally spoiled for myself when in all actuality he's just trying to get the bag.
felt like a super slow episode. we just came off binging the series so maybe that’s why. innie mark just seemed really grumpy. i mean come on dude you just got laid for the first time!
This one definitely felt like the weakest this season but compared to the last episode I get why. Not too worried.
