Lumon getting even more sinister than before in a “come on over here friends” kind of way is perfect.

 

Wish I had done a S1 rewatch. Thought I remembered it pretty well then realized I was lost on much of what had happened while watching S2E1…

 

Tramell Tillman is fantastic as Milchick. His range and quickness of facial expressions are top notch.

 

Great first ep back.

 

I did not think of that at all! My only thought was "hmmmm I wonder shy she lied about her outside experience." I'm such a simpleton!

I love having a phenomenal week to week show to look forward to every week and talk about it at work the day after.

I hope they bring back the full S1 intro next week.

So. It seems weird to me that Mark’s first instinct after finding out his wife is alive and at his work and when he returns she is gone, is to get his team back together? I’d be cutting peoples heads off to have them tell me where she is. But I guess Innie Mark has no memory of their marriage.

 

Right. Innie Mark has no romantic connection to his outie’s wife. He says to Helly that he and Ms. Casey had never had that kind of feeling. That said, he does seem curious about it, seeing as he says he wants to find her and get her out for his outie.

 

Yea innie Mark & outtie Mark are different people. So it’s not a stretch for innie Mark to be more attached to the team than outtie Mark’s wife.

i'm also confused why outtie mark would go back to lumen if they have his wife essentially hostage and he's thought she was dead this entire time. I would burn the place to the ground, not let myself go back to work???

 

I’ll probably be way off on this but the second I saw Ms. Huang together with Mark, I thought it was his daughter. The actress playing her is 19 but I don’t know old she is in the show.I feel like they would have a much younger child like a toddler.

 

I thought the exact same thing.

 

His wife being an employee sorta sets it up that way, but with this show who knows

 

That whole scene was trippy, especially since I was high.

 

The Prestige pod had some interesting theories

That Miss Huang is Mark's daughter and Irving was formerly a manager like Milchick or Cobel before he was severed

 

Finally watched, I don’t really buy the daughter thing because how would outie Mark have not mentioned having a daughter that presumably died in the crash with his wife up to this point???

 

I think she’s a miss casey clone

 

The theory they gave was she is like an ivf test tube baby grown by Lumen, or that she is just a clone of Miss Casey

 

That makes sense but either Gemma was involved long ago or they found a way to speed up development of a fetus and humans. I quess we can’t rule it out but we haven’t been given indications that either is a possibility yet.

 

It’ll all make sense when you are by my side at my revolving.

 

Opening scene was cool but I don’t like the direction they’re taking. Feels like a forced way to get the band back together but we’ll see where it goes.

 

Well, not the scene I was talking about, but this is better haha.
