Oddly enough, i have found myself revisiting their discography this summer. TWBTDOU is an unbelievable album. And Mutiny! is a classic, of course. Their third album was really not my jam at all. So disappointing that they disappeared after putting out 2 really great follow-up songs. I hope they can put out more music, this band was so great.
I have recently had TWBTDOU on repeat and enjoyed it so much more now than I did when it first came out. They were a band that got me more into hardcore after being stuck in the metalcore and screamo bands of that era.
I’ve always really liked this band, but most people’s opinions I’ve heard had been that they’re trash lol. I think when they play with heavier bands they don’t hold up, but on a pop punk/emo style lineup they shine out a bit more. The features on on This Will Be the Death of Us are superb. Album rules
Back in the day, I resequenced the track listing on their third record to a different order and it drastically improved it. I uploaded it to absolute punk even, and a bunch of people liked the rearranged order. Its not a perfect album, but rearranging the track listing had a massive affect.
i saw them on this lineup back in the day, random lineup but fun my date also had lydia, but SYG played right after metro station and the pit opened the fuck up from song one, all the neon kids were like WUTTTTT it was a blast Tours: Saves the Day / Armor for Sleep / Set Your Goals / Metro Station on Bamboozle Roadshow
