His vocal melodies on this are just fucked

Whisper/Seedless/Invoice/Bless Ur Heart are early favorites but yeah this is incredible. A lot less dark than I expected tbh, love the uplifting gospel influence

I've never listened to this band project but they're gonna be at EXC so I figure I should become familiar starting here.

 

Shit this is awesome. "cherubim" is wild

Be sure to check out his EP before this. As much as I love this album, blisters and four ethers remain his best songs.

 

Falling in love with this. Ended up ordering the vinyl from Amoeba, which claims it’s the yellow. Hope that’s true.

On his bandcamp and the label’s website the yellow is sold out and only black is available

 

interesting, discogs didn't even mention a black version

 

Unbelievable show last night. When I saw him open for Perfume Genius last year he was relatively reserved in his stage presence, but he absolutely owned the stage last night. He only played 7 songs, all from this album, but stretched it to fill an hour set with his chats and freestyling. I'm constantly in awe of his voice and hearing it live is almost surreal.

 

Been listening to this constantly. So ready to hear his live show this weekend.
