Buddy said this year. But that was before SF began recording which was supposed to be 2021 so who knows
I agree but does Bayonet really sound like heavy Senses Fail? When Buddy said that there won't be any heavy Senses Fail bc he's bringing back Bayonet, my heart caved in.
Stoked for the new record this year. If they're recording in February, then the summer-fall seems like the time frame that it could be released.
Even if we never get anymore heavy senses fail, at least we will always have Renacer! Still hopeful about bayonet!
I was always happy with the *heavy* tracks mixed with the signature Senses Fail sound. I would hope he’s gonna continue to do something like that- Bite To Break Skin, Sick or Sane, Lungs Like Gallows. But I trust Buddy, he just writes good music.
I tweeted them yesterday to ask about the documentary and they liked it. I'm just going to assume we're not getting it but maybe they will put it out when they celebrate the bands 20th anniversary
I posted about this earlier in the thread. Sometime shortly after The Fire, Buddy said they had filmed almost everything the band had done up to that point and thought about putting out a documentary. I haven’t heard anything since so I asked him on Twitter
The big news they are posting today is that they are opening up for Bayside on their upcoming tour. Unless they are announcing something else as well, this is pretty disappointing. How many times do I have to go to a Bayside show to see Senses Fail lol
eh, Hawthorne Heights haven't been even remotely relevant in 10 years. If people are excited, then great but i don't really think any of their material holds up. I assume they will only play old stuff that will be cool as long as they sound good live. I have no idea
The email was from my local venue so i don't think so. Someone in the tour prediction thread said that's what the news is
Can't Swim are fucking excellent by the way and if you haven't listened to them, you should, both of their albums are fantastic. Debut is very hooky and aggro mix of post-hardcore and pop-punk with some brilliant songs such as Stranger or We Won't Sleep, and the last album was a darker sounding release but more consistent in my opinion. Latest EP was a kind of fun short project but not representative of their actual sound though.
Yeah, but I live in Canada so it ain't coming near me. I wish bands would stop overhyping tour announcements. Just say "Tour announcement coming Monday" and be done with it. Saying things like "Get excited!" or "Big news coming!" just disappoints a big part of the fanbase when the news turns out to be a tour in one country. I know the announcement hasn't been made officially now and they might still announce something else with it, but I've seen a bunch of bands do it lately.
not interested in this at all. havent given bayside or Hawthorne Heights a listen to since 2007. Do enjoy both bands first albums, but no desire to see them live. I only have followed Senses Fail since my scene days ended over a decade ago lol
