On a somewhat related note, I think bands/artists/even fans also get a pass for rating particularly emotionally songs higher. Just because something’s emotional doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a good song. ITILIWFY May be emotionally resonant but in the end its far and away their least creative album. That said, I still love it. Hooks are some of the best since SS.
Looks like he got over the 'Rum is for Drinking' lyric mishap on Conan. I just watched that again and cringed.
Wow, I would kill for this show even though I'd have to sit through 1 album I'm not a huge fan of. I'm totally down for this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess this was one of their first tv performances and Buddy forgets the lyrics. I don't remember where, but in interviews he said how much it ate at him and he struggled to get over it for a long time.
True true. I dunno why he was so hard on himself though, they were so young and the performance still jams IMO. Poor dude.
I loved once Buddy took over all the screaming and if singing was needed during screams, the guitarists would help out. So much better that way. During the Fire tour I remember that song, the title track and Lifeboats for sure being played. During Renacer I know they kept Lifeboats and Buddy even played it with Bayonet.

I'm really excited to hear the re-recorded from the depths of dreams EP! With Buddy's improved screams it should sound amazing.
I think they're mainly doing it because they want to press it on vinyl and don't have the rights to the original recordings.
Who has the rights at this point? Would be really cool to see the DTR stuff get nice simple and clean pressings.
I wonder if ECA Records has the rights since they released the original EP? DTR did the re release so who knows.
