Wolves At The Door (I think Family Tradition is fine and it has some strong lyrics, but I enjoy Wolves At The Door more) Blackout (One of my favorite tracks on the album - I love that final minute and a half) Four Years (Kinda funny that these two are matched up against each other - this was a tough one for me, but I give this the slight edge) Fireworks At Dawn (I think that this is a great way to start the album, also I think that Garden State is pretty forgettable)
Yeah, the Four Years bridge is great. The "When she came home I made her sit My feet tap out a rhythm as I draw breath in" part is fantastic. Yellow Angels has some great lyrics too though: As the car begins to roll I smile as I lose control This weightlessness is such a gift 'Cause gravity has lost its hold I see the sky and then the ground Kaleidoscope of light and sound Catching flashes of my life Just then the house lights all went out I love how he can paint a picture with lyrics. I agree with Fireworks, but Garden state wasn't a single! It should have been though, song is so good
I am surprised but love the Fireworks at Dawn votes. I thought I'd be the only crazy one voting for it. To me the lyrics are so positive and always put me in a good mood.
Wolves At The Door Blackout Four Years Fireworks At Dawn and since someone mentioned the song on the split (AYNIAWY), gotta get this cover in on the battle as well
Had to go back & jam the songs again bc this bracket was a close one for sure. Wolves At The Door- This one is a no brainer for me, just a killer song & has so much more energy than Family Tradition Blackout- This Closer is probably my 3rd favorite overall out of all of their closers, such a jam Yellow Angels- This was probably the hardest for me, both are great songs, but just the overall flow of Yellow Angels is just too good for me Fireworks At Dawn- Garden State is a solid song, but im a sucker for a great opening track & this one is probably one of my all time favorites
