I think he had said around the time that half the record was in major and half was in minor and that was the "a side/b side" theory, but I havent listened to it since it first released and didnt pay any attention at the time

 

They recorded their new album at 606 studios. Home of where the foo fighters record

 

Think that's where Alkaline Trio recorded their last full length too

 

Hope I dig this one more than the last. Last one had pretty shitty production and just didn't stick with me. Hope it’s more is the vein of If There’s A Light.

 

i liked the last album, i think i listened to light more though, with that said, i love this song, wish they played it live when the album came out

 

Sounds so Taking Back Sunday to me.

Good show from time boys last night. Highlight was hearing Renacer live! Lost my shit

 

What a massive bummer. Zack always seemed like such a cool dude during his time in the band and he contributed a lot amazing riffs to my favorite era of SF too. RIP.

 

Yeah Renacer and Thorns are two of my favourite records and he was obviously a big part of that

 

Watching their Audiotree from back in the day right now and it’s bittersweet given the news.

 

I know this band got better later on in their career but the original recording of From the Depths of Dream is still the only release I truly enjoy front to back.

As a certified Renancer and Pull the Thorns stan, I am incredibly saddened by his passing. I revisit their audiotree all the time.

20 year Still Searching tour to be announced next Tuesday. They sent out teaser emails of some sort of Still Searching related announcement for Tuesday at 10am EST. The 10 year was a great time with Counterparts and Movements supporting. Hoping for some fun openers.
