how was buddy vocally this time around? he was completely shot last year when they came through with saves the day, he was so derpy sounding it was off-putting instantly, i felt bad because other people noticed as well , i got to see LIEY back when they did the ten year annv run so i didn't mind to much

He sounded decent at riot fest

I was like 2nd row at cobra so I really couldnt hear the vocals well given where the speakers are there

jealous of anyone that was at the cobra lounge set. i really wish artists would consider more opportunities to pull out deep cuts sets… it is so frustrating as a fan to enjoy material from an artist knowing it’ll never be played live for me just because the fanbase collectively hasn’t progressed past the year 2007 lol.

after buddy has made comments about pulling out songs from the forgotten eras in the past online only to show up and he completely ignored the songs he talked up, it’s nice to see he pulled through on this one- and i just hope the fans were into it so he maybe has the confidence to do more of this in the future.

It was insane. The crowd was into all the songs and screaming and singing all the words

It’s not Buddy’s fault that if they did a tour around those records it would draw half as well as a normal or anniversary tour. The only way that kind of tour works is if they are playing much smaller venues. Most of their fanbase actively rejected those records even though they are some of their best material. SF has a fanbase that definitely hasn’t progressed past the first 2 albums for the most part.

this is exactly my best friend. He just knows dreams and let it enfold you And he kinda knows still searching because it’s their biggest album, but he never really got Truly into it. Whereas for me, I enjoy every album and have all of them on physical copy. Plus, I’ve seen them like 15 times where he’s only seen them a handful of times. I like an album tour as much as the next guy. But when a band like this, where I fuck with their whole discography, I rather just hear a set with songs from every album. I feel like that’s worth much more than an album tour.

My friend just texted me a video clip of SF at riot fest playing buried a lie and buddy sounded awful, it’s like he wasn’t even trying.
