I looked this up because I was curious and all I can find is what looked to me like a joke post earlier in the year and a website with one song. Is there any indication anywhere that this is a serious thing being treated seriously?

 

yea, buddy did an interview just last week with like Emo is Not Dead or some podcast where he talks about it for a few minutes. Says they are focusing on that in 2025 and then SF after. Calls it dinner and a show.

I assume it’s new music. Either that or they are announcing a Still Searching tour way in advance because this band lives off anniversary tours lol

Yeah they’ve been in the studio off and on for a good bit now

 

I hope they let Steve Carey go wild on this next one. His drumming on the color morale stuff is great.

 

would love some new SF stuff. They are one of the few bands that I've liked for 2+ decades that still but out good records and I highly anticipate them.

 

I didn't think the last record was bad but may be one of the most forgettable I've listened to. I can't barely recall anything off it

 

Announcement is a coheadliner with Story of the Year with Armor For asleep opening. Pretty great tour.

 

Hopefully this does well and gets a 2nd leg that hits TX... and they both should be having new albums coming down the pipeline

The show at cobra lounge was fucking insane

 

damn they really did a renacer/thorns set huh wow

 

Renacer is their best album, would love to see those songs live

 

Very very mad I couldn't go to that, I'd level Cobra if they opened with Renacer lol
