Yeah this tour is hitting my town and I haven't seen them, nor cared to see them, in damn near 20 years so fuck it, I'm in.
So I was reading through this thread and I kept reading a mention of a nu metal medley. I got curious and looked up their most recent setlist and saw it on there. You guys are telling me they’ve been doing that same medley for YEARS?
The medley thing would be more interesting if they actually did different songs instead of the same four. I mean, throw some Korn in there, or Linkin Park. If you're going to do it no matter what, at least switch it up.
Damn I had no idea! Jealous. That and Vines are the two I really want to see live. But I’ve accepted Vines is likely to never happen.
i feel like ive only ever heard war paint from those best of new songs live. maybe another that i've forgotten over the years but yah wolves was sick live, kids got into it too!
Damn that’s so bizarre. I can see doing it as a cool thing for one tour but to do it every show for five years is so weird to me.
wish this was hitting NJ. If it was The Fire tour I would make the trip to NYC. Bummer too cause I just recently picked up one of those rare Senses Fail skate decks from a decade ago and would have loved to do VIP to have Buddy sign it.
they didn't do it last year when i saw em , they did Battle Hymn during the breakdown instead it was sick!
A lot of Bud's Instagram stories are him saying this will be their biggest stage production/lights show on this tour, and while that may be true for some dates, the CLE show will absolutely not be at Mahalls. There's like, no stage/light production at that venue whatsoever.
What is the band going to project fucking wolves at a door and yellow angels floating around behind them
i love their ranking lists, i always share them in specific threads on here for a topic starter, it always gets the discussion going which is fun for on here!
I have a hard time ranking their albums but I know Still Searching and The Fire are the top 2. Broadly speaking though: lIEY and LINAWR probably come 3rd and 4th in some order. I try to not weigh nostalgia too heavily but so many of these scene classics really do sound incredibly unique and have so much raw power behind them. most recent couple records have plenty of good songs, including some career best, but they’re super inconsistent and I don’t like the production. PTTFYH is definitely last but I struggle with where to place renacer. I enjoy most of the individual songs on renacer on their own, but as a record it falls lower on the list. Generally just don’t like the guitar tones or the lyrics.
Very hard for me to rank these albums because my opinion constantly has changed over the 20 years. I would certainly not have Life Is Not A Waiting Room ranked so high nor The Fire ranked so low.
