So this still isn’t out for a month and it’s leaked now too?

This album roll out is fucking cursed lmao

 

The long rollout makes this especially disappointing. I hoped it would be worth the wait but no not really, I'll listen more but nothing about it really made me want to do so.

 

So do you even find music leaks these days? I thought all the major sites shut down.

 

I googled the album title and set the search range to 24 hours and it was the first result for me.

 

I listened through once. It was okay. SF used to be my favorite band but I think I've grown out of them over the last few albums. Everything after The Fire has been pretty mediocre to me.

 

Finished my listen. Its and easy listen and not bad but it leaves a lot to desire on the first listen. I was hoping to see a little more of the energy found on Lush.

 

After one listen, I'd say Lush Rimbaugh is easily the best song on this.

Stylistically what does this sound like?

 

Probably not but moderating is a little quiet these days.. so yea I’d take a dm as well! Ha

Something nostalgic about listening to a low quality senses fail leak.

I’m enjoying this a lot. I had almost no expectations going in though.

After first final listen, it's definitely darker than their last one and really harkens back to the bands earlier records in a lot of ways. I think Buddy's vocal delivery on this album especially had a lot of emotion and intensity that I hadn't heard from him in a long time. I did not dive into the lyrics much, so there could be some clunkers on there and I wouldn't know haha, but nothing stood out as terrible. I don't really listen to Senses Fail for their lyrics anyway. I think this album should make long time fans of the band pretty happy. I need to hear it in full quality to have any idea of where it would stand because the leak definitely doesn't sound good at 128 KBPS. I may hold off on listening again until it leaks in better quality or comes out, but I will say the record excited me enough to buy a vinyl halfway through my listen.

 

Renacer is my favorite SF album but I love all the pop-punk stuff they put out too. this album is right up my alley
