I am not into celebrating anyone's suffering. It just feels weird to me. The song however is great. Feels like old school SF. I hope it is a sign of music to come.
The timing is gross? I mean, I’m pretty sure it’s exactly the timing the band intended... but everyone can have their opinions on that!
Don’t really care for Senses Fail. But I’m here for celebrating the suffering and death of Rush. I hope his final days were miserable.
That's fair. I'll concede to that. Still, the bar I'd set to wishing someone suffering and death is high above Rush Limbaugh.
The miserable piece of human trash celebrated and mocked the misery of other people for decades yet it’s gross to celebrate his death? Makes no sense at all and dude was pure evil. Song is good stuff and I absolutely love the timing of it.
Yeah, he had a segment on his show literally dedicated to celebrating the deaths of people (mainly LGBTQ+ people) from AIDS so celebrating his death is fair. Plus, the world is certainly a better place without him in it.
This song fucking rules. Also, according to Buddy, they wrote this a year ago and it was always titled this.
I get where others are coming from but I don’t care what kind of person someone is, I’m not going to celebrate their death. they have family and friends that are suffering. Plus, the guys dead now, what’s the point of releasing a song about him.
I'll gladly celebrate someones death if they had no shame in celebrating other peoples deaths. It's only appropriate.
This song rips. The world is an infinitely worse place because he was allowed to spew bigotry for entertainment. His thoughts gave voice to all the paranoia and chaos that grips a powerful arm, if not the nerve center, of one of our two major political parties today. His grotesqueries mocked and targeted hate and harassment at the very cultures this scene represents. If you find yourself defending that, ask yourself why.
"He wasn't Hitler", this is exactly the bar for modern Conservatism/Trumpism. As long as the bar doesn't go to Hitler, it's okay.
Also, I will say to anyone who doesn’t want to cheer when anyone dies, I understand that position and that’s totally fine as an individual choice for yourself. You don’t have to join the choir. But you can’t stop us from singing.
No one is telling you stop. Everyone is just expressing their opinions. Just like I didn’t listen Rush spread hate, I’ll ignore this song.
