Had a lot of fun with this tonight. A trope I love in self-aware horror movies is when people are huge, over the top pricks in the first act so it’s that much more delicious when they eat it. A surprisingly large crowd of about 50 for a Thursday night too!
Kinda surprised by how lukewarm everyone in here seems to be about it. I came here thinking I would see more people raving about it. I loved it. Every decision made was soooo good. This was straight fun from beginning to end. Someone commented that it was too long but I never felt the pacing go sideways. That final act was necessary to sell us on the ending. If anything, I don't think this is being hyped enough. I'm going to remember this theater experience.
Yah pretty fun movie. Small crowd but everyone was having a good time and got a lot of big reactions. The part in the crash with the window made me laugh the hardest.
Just got home from the cinema after seeing Send Help.. Sam Raimi still has the juice after all this time plus Rachel McAdams and Dylan O' Brien were phenomenal in it
I would have if I didn't already go with my girlfriend opening night with a full crowd of people cheering and laughing their ass off
Fun times were had with this. The boar kill, the puke, the eye gouge, the castration fake out, all delicious to me. Just makes me want to see Raimi do another Evil Dead.
