Losing a Whole Year is a good song, but not even in the top half of the album for me. What an awesome album!!
I can't express how much this album means to me. Listened to it for the first time when I was 9, lying on the floor of my room, headphones on to drown out a huge storm. I remember absolutely loving the entire album, but the second Motorcycle Drive By hit... damn. This is a tough choice, and I wouldn't have kept listening if Losing a Whole Year hadn't pulled me in so hard right off the bat, but few songs have ever made me feel the way I feel when I listen to... Well, it seems like this round - and therefore the first album - is finally closed! And the official winner of the Self-Titled bracket is noneother than Motorcycle Drive-By!!! Though “Semi-Charmed Life” and “Losing a Whole Year” both scored the same amount of votes in the previous two rounds, for posterity’s sake, the runner-up is Losing a Whole Year!!
