I disagree. I don't have an issue with his blatantly sexual lines elsewhere, or the blatant sexuality of this line, but it's poorly written and delivered and sticks out like a sore thumb (in a song I already don't think is very good regardless). Whereas the vast majority of his blatantly sexual lines fit seamlessly into the song.
I don't think it's poorly delivered at all. It's basically like, him seeing her in the shower and all of these past experiences and sexual urges surface. He reflects on them in his mind in a reminiscent way and then moves on because now, they're just friends. He's just waffling back and forth with his feelings for her.
Well said. In the same vein, I've always loved the 'I fall down on what to say / oh something clean / let me be clever / "hey" / oh well, whatever" lyric. Always love how the song plays out in his mind, and his only attempt at speaking is "hey" haha

LOL my brother said his dentist asked his favourite band yesterday and he said Third Eye Blind. She said she was signed to a label and did a single with one of the guitarists when she was 15. I wonder which guitarist it was Can't believe he didn't ask.
