Hey guys! I play in The Ivins, an alternative rock band from Richmond, VA and we were actually featured on the Encore podcast this week as the sponsor! We just put out an EP and I would describe our sound as a gumbo of Stereophonics, Arctic Monkeys, with some Smashing Pumpkins and 30 Seconds to Mars thrown in. On the podcast, Thomas threw out The Killers. I am fully OK with that. Below is a video for the single from the EP, "Stockholm Syndrome." If you like the video, our brand new self-titled EP is available on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify and, yes, Tidal, just in case you want to make a major stylistic shift after listening to Prince, or even "Lemonade" or "Life Of Pablo" in solidarity to the service, knowing full well they're on iTunes now. Enjoy!
The post-hardcore/alt-rock band Blind Breed I play bass for in Nashville just released its new single!
Haven't had a chance to listen but do you know Jacob Wischoff who books at The Charleston? He has booked me every time I've been through Bremerton for like 5 years now. He's a wonderful guy.

I play in a band called "The Okay Win" out of Massachusetts. We've released a few albums since 2009, including an EP entitled "Cannon Mouth", this past New Year's Day. You can check all of that out here: The Okay Win It goes in descending order, by release date, starting in the top left. Right now we're working on writing our next one which we'll hopefully be recording later this spring/early summer, and our next show is opening for Vinnie Caruana in Cambridge, MA this June. Thanks for your time! Looking forward to checking out what other people are posting!
I'm not in a band or have my own music but I have started a Music Blog that I want to share! musicsavesmysoul84.tumblr.com I would love to see some comments and feedback on my post!
I don't know if this kind of thing is allowed in here, but I'm interning for a non-profit that helps get pianos that people are getting rid of to schools, community centers, etc. that can't afford it. I'm in charge of finding Artist Ambassadors--basically, we'll post about your music on our social media, including interviews and things like that, as long as you occasionally post about us too. There's also going to be a compilation to raise money for the organization, so as an Artist Ambassador you would be a part of that as well. The only requirements are that you must be a pianist/keyboardist or in a band that has prominent keys and that you're from the US. The submission system is a little wonky right now, so if you're interested, you can just send me an email at michaelchangingkeys (at) gmail.com or a PM on Chorus.fm.
