I tried making a music video for one of my songs using only stock footage

 

Half self-promo, half pure happiness, but Ruben Rabasa (THE Focus Group guy) shared the song we wrote about the I Think You Should Leave sketch and it brings me so much joy to know he's heard it and likes it haha.

 

Hello, I am a sound technician, I do not dedicate myself to making music. But in these weeks of confinement I have put myself to it as a hobby and I liked it. I'll be sharing more things as they come out.

The story begins with a bearded man confined to his home by covid-19

When he goes out into the street out of necessity, he realizes that he and the other men hide their beards behind the mask that everyone is wearing. Even those without beards are also suspected of having it.

Hello, tbh I never heard of this website before today. Someone in Submithub told me that I should go here and share my bands new song with the community here as they would "eat up this sound all day". So, well, this is what I want to do here. I want to share our first music video that came out last friday, just one week ago. We are a brand new pop punk band and will release a 5 song EP soon.

If you want, please checkout the music video for Reflections and let me know what you think. As all musicians know very well, it's the most exciting thing to release something new and you are dying to hear honest feedback.

The Phoebe Bridgers track hasn't been released yet (I figured it out from an Instagram live clip) but I was eager to attempt this interpretation. Spent some time learning how to edit multi-cam shots on iMovie for the outro, which was fun. I feel like I've made a small tribute to LA & its influence on me, despite being 5000 miles away - note the Bojack tee, Conan hat, Jack's Mannequin record in the background.
