I wrote "Everything Sucks" last year, pre-coronavirus but it seemed like a good time to put it out. Life imitating art.
Hi everyone! Me again. My band has put out our third single in the past month. This was all a part of launching our project. It's like a chilled out indie rock sound influenced by bossa nova. This is my personal favourite of the three! RIYL: Devendra Banhart, Tame Impala, upbeat Fleet Foxes, The Decemberists, Joywave, As Tall as Lions, the Steven Universe soundtrack
Does anyone have anything that they recorded AND mixed entirely using Logic? I'd love to hear how it sounds. I'm currently recording some pop tunes using Logic and weighing my options of mixing myself or paying someone.
this is a music video and im tryna be sexy but im a popstar lowkey on soundcloud tryna get women, but i dont need no woman to have a good time with a liquor by the poolside thanks jesus
Just put out my first record today on Bandcamp. Strong Christian overtones for anyone who’s turned off by that, but I hope a lot of folks here dig the musical side at least. Low-fi ambient indie acoustic folk rock. I think? RIYL: Andrew Peterson, Anberlin, From Indian Lakes, Manchester Orchestra, Sufjan Stevens, Copeland, Julien Baker, Bon Iver Shaping Season, Vol. 1, by Benjamin Daniel
I wanted to share with everyone my promotion company called "Official Skrypt." You can view us on YouTube, Twitter, and also search us on Google "Official Skrypt." We have a growing number of Island Rap Artists under our network, and our goal for 2020 is to raise as much awareness to them as possible (without spamming). We also want to know if there are other Island Rap artists out their that we do not know about, and invite you to reply with their names so we can have a listen at their material. Your reply's and feedback is greatly appreciated as we can work together to build our brand's up. Thank you and hope to hear back from you. Our Blog is skrypt510.blogspot.com
I want to share with you my Bro's group called Cutthroat Mode. Their song is called "On The Way," which I think you will like very much. If so, please share and hit that like button.
I don't think I've ever posted on chorus about this but I've had a solo project for about a year now called Beach Holiday. I'm in a collective with two of my best friends called Bold Crew. I'd call my music sort of a mix between neon emo (All Time Low type stuff), trap (huge Travis influence) and just straight up pop music. If anything, I'd say the project is sonically inspired by my shift away from being a pop-punk kid. Anyway, I'm putting a record out in June and I have a few singles out (including a brand new collab that features a socially distanced music video) right now which I'm linking below. It is worth noting that (most of) my music is available on all streaming platforms, so if you use Spotify, Apple Music, etc. the plays on there help me a lot more but I'll drop the Soundcloud links for the sake of accessibility. I'm on the left in the music video, by the way.
Just finished listening to all the soundcloud tracks you posted up. The one that caught my attention the most was "Green Porsche" because I listen to a lot of rap and also promote a lot of Island Rappers trending Worldwide right now. So for the sake of communicating inter-personally, could you have a listen to bro's and leave some feedback? The group is called "Cutthroat Mode" out of Northern California, and the song is called "On The Way." -Official Skrypt
Not my band, but a friend and former band mate of mine is releasing an EP soon and just put out the first single. Could be up someone's alley here so thought I'd share on his behalf. Little bit alternative, little bit post hardcore.
Hi all, suffering a loss of work, and gained a lot more free time. Decided I might start doing regular quarantine covers while I'm at home. Started off with this Elliott Smith song, Memory Lane. To anyone who decides to give it a watch, hope you enjoy!
Good morning everyone, Been in this forum for about five days now and wanted to shoot some feedback on what I thought was good about it. Well first thing that caught my interest was the amount of diversity in music there was, even if it was just this thread I was looking at. So that's a plus because I love music and like to be very diverse in the styles of music I listen to. I'm from the Bay Area, Northern California so it's common for one to have ears for many different genres. Anyways with all this said, I wanted to also bring something to the table for all of us out there not to sleep on, and that is Island Music (song and rap). So when you have a chance check out our channel on YouTube #OfficialSkrypt #Skrypt and see what you like. I'll also leave you with a track by one of my brother's and sister's for you to listen to. If you like what you hear, then subscribing to Official Skrypt is something you should do, because we share #trending #island #music. Meaning all the hot stuff that's out right now, you can find first when you subscribe. I'll also leave our blog address for you which is skrypt510.blogspot.com, stop by and have a look. Below are two videos, just a snippet of what to expect. Take care everyone, #StayHome and #StaySafe -Official Skrypt
Hello everyone! I am new in the community. I want to tell you that is taking place a piano competition via YouTube, in which I am participating, and anyone can do it. It is about making a cover of the song by the violinist Ayasa, The reason why, (as stated by the organizer). All the information about the contest, as well as the award, was given by the organizer on his channel in one of his first videos. I have made a full version on the piano, and I would glad if you watch it and leave your LIKE :) Here is the link of my cover published in the organizer channel:
Hello guys!! new here! I am a british influenced musician, but I am from Chile, at the very south of this blue boat. I also have a crazy love for space. You are very welcome to hear my first two songs, I will be uploading more in the coming weeks. My stronger influences are Beatles, Oasis, Bowie, Radiohead among many others.
