Hey guys! I'm from Saint-Petersburg, Russia, and I sing in indie rock band called Party Lions. I would like to know your opinion on our new song "Run" (and yes, I know I have a terrible accent and lyrics are not that good)
I put out some acoustic songs today that I'm really proud of. The songs themselves are actually very serious despite the fact that I'm a dumb idiot and give everything meme names
SUPER proud of my band's debut premiering over at New Noise Magazine! Please give it a peep if you dig Pedro The Lion, Turnover, The Appleseed Cast Song Premiere: Hiddenfolk - "Sunny" - New Noise Magazine
v excited to be releasing my new album next month I've been working day and night on it for the last 4 months and it's finally gonna come out! Please go listen to the new song sugar coats if you have the time @nothingsforeverdude it's happening!
hey congrats!! this song is sick, i love the groove and the glitchy (?) vocal effects also v excited to hear the new version of somebody
thanks, really appreciate that. It doesn't get much attention but I'm trying to grow it without having to spam links everywhere, pay for promotion, beg people to listen. I've actually just come into this thread to see if I can find any new bands to play this month.
thanks :- ) new version of some body really took the song up where it needed to go imo I'm just having a lot of trouble mixing it :- /
well if you end up being able to use a second set of ears let me know! not too knowledgeable about mixing jargon in itself but I can point out it generally sounds to me and/or anything that feels off. (and also secretly because I want to hear the song >:))
im gonna mix it a little more on the 6 hour flight out of cali I have tonight I'll send it over once I think it's done :- )
Loving what everyones bringing to the table in here so much I made an account just to throw my hat in the ring. So here's the video for the first single from my new record And here's the record itself And if that all STILL doesn't convince you that I suck like my facebook at Security Check Required=
So following on from @YahWeWoo post above....episode 5 of my podcast is ready to stream. As you can see I'm picking some of my bands from this thread, so thanks to everyone for the great music I've been listening to recently. You can find more out at my Facebook profile.
scrolling through this thread, checking out bands here and there, and holy shit...there's some REALLY great music in here. this is definitely gonna be my new go to for smaller bands from now on.
I'm in a band called Johnny Mainstream from Connecticut. We released an EP last June and 2 full-lengths before that. Almost all of our stuff is on Spotify, iTunes and Bandcamp. Break The Kettles and Sink The Ship, by Johnny Mainstream I appreciate anyone listening and if you want a free download of the new EP send me a message!
I've been posting more on my blog again. Occasionally I'll post original songs, stories, or poems, but usually they're mini-essays about music, literature, film, etc. Here are my posts from the past two days. If anyone would like to subscribe by email at the bottom of the site, I'm working on posting daily again. A Perpetual Beginner and the Desire to Learn Imbalanced Direction
My bands EP is available today on all these platforms. You may recognize it from recent events such as: me posting incessantly in self-promotion/feedback threads about it, or the ads we took out on the Encore podcast. Probably no other ways you would've heard about it. Anyway, would love if some people gave it a listen and let me know what they think. Am open to as much honest feedback as I can possibly get. Spotify Apple Music (Safely by Safely on iTunes) And available for purchase on iTunes (Safely by Safely on iTunes) Edit: was trying to just make hyperlinks but idk how to make the Spotify one not appear the way it is now.
CALL THE WOLF - Toronto Post-Hardcore I recorded a new song last month with Anton Delost at Lost Recording. It’s available for streaming or free download at callthewolf.bandcamp.com. I’d love to hear what people think. Feel free to share, comment, or message me. Thanks, I hope you enjoy it!
