Wanted to propose a thread that somewhat acted as a counterpart to the Self-Promotion thread... lots of talent here in the community and thought it might be good to create a space to learn, get feedback, ask questions, share tutorials, your discoveries or ideas, bits about your creation process, and just all-round spread the knowledge.

General discussions around music production... :eyeglass:

I've recently started creating my own electronic-based music using Logic Pro X... getting a handful of ideas together that I really like, but I'm finding that I'm hitting a lot of hurdles and road-blocks where I know how I want something to sound (typically more rhythmic and aggressive), but have no idea where to start in terms of what plug-ins, tools, or what "clicks" or "pokes" to execute to achieve it.

There's a whole world of knowledge I feel like I'm trying to learn... beyond just learning all of what stock sounds and presets are available, and trying to write.

So yeah, just a space to share tips, tricks... encouragement :verysad: lol... you know.

    Thanks all!

I was hesitant to create this thread just because yeah, I figured there would be one lol... did a search and didn't see anything.

Wondering if anybody has any experience with the Serum VST (or any others) and if so, is it fairly easy to learn? I'm considering just biting the bullet and diving in... trying to break down all those internal "barriers" like I said, get through all the unknowns. Hoping what I'm looking for is on the other side.
