amazing work, man! don't get discouraged - this is a masterwork and it has gotten me through some rough shit much love & respect
Thanks everyone! I have a general aversion to forums, or any kind of social interaction actually, but this place seems cool so maybe I'll pop in sometime. Ah that makes sense, love that dude. It's not really, I just referenced "A Slight Grip, A Gentle Hold" in the lyrics for "Every Sky Is Mine" and thought I should acknowledge that somehow. Same goes for Phil Elverum and Joe Hisaishi. I actually just grabbed a copy of Centres today, real good album.
Nice! Kate is awesome and I'm real glad so many people seem to be into that album. Oh man that's a big question, I'm an embarrassing fanboy when it comes to Phil. I think my top 3 looks something like Glow pt. 2/Wind's Poem/Sauna, but that leaves out so much great music. Mount Eerie and Clear Moon are up there too.
Officially going to be the album I play throughout fall/winter while my kids work. This and After the Warmth by German Error message. Hype for whatever you have on the horizon!
Thank you!! Right now I'm like eight months into """finishing up""" a new Cloud Ellyn album, so that will hopefully be done and released sometime before I die maybe.
Thanks y'all!! This was just something I've been poking at for a few years, to be honest the thought of starting another Seismograph album feels exhausting right now. I'm still working on the next Cloud Ellyn album though, and we're finishing mixing the ~debut~ album from Ballet next week.
