I initially wrote this band off because they always got compared to Heavy Heavy Low Low and I fucking hated them. But I'm am idiot, and this is just great.

 

this is a blast from the past transporting me back to fifiteen years ago and is getting me so hyped for the new number twelve record.

 

I hope they play Sound and Fury this year.

 

I can't tell if I really like this, or if I'm just nostalgic for 2005-era scenecore. Maybe both?

Just hit play on this record and my first thought was The Number Twelve Looks Like You. Need to give Mongrel a spin soon, it’s been years.
