I haven't felt heartbroken about a band break up/member leaving a band since The Movielife broke up in 2003.

New band anvilchandelier have dropped an EP where Connie appears on the final track. She apparently made the cover artwork for them too.
Really sucks and hurts to see the band end (I assume? Can't imagine they'd continue without her), but excited to follow future projects from her
Yeah, fuck that. Glad this band is done and obviously they were headed in a bad direction for a long time. Enjoyed the music they made, but this is a hard no for me.

Fuuuuuuuuuck. First and foremost, it’s horrendous that Connie put this person through that. Reading this hurts. SYSC isn’t a band anymore, but they meant so much to so many people. And they were brilliant. This undoes so much joy they’ve brought me. More importantly, I hope Connie’s ex is safe and supported through all of this.
Say what you want about this situation, but at the very least I’d hope we could all agree throwing a plate in someone’s direction is domestic violence even if the object missed the intended target. Clearly there’s some seemingly reluctant damage control going on here which may further be indicative of emotional manipulation from Connie. Sad situation all around.
