Massive bummer - Coup de Grace is an incredible record. Hopefully, she does something creative in the future.

 

I haven't felt heartbroken about a band break up/member leaving a band since The Movielife broke up in 2003.

 

Just saw that they’re running a sale of 60% off their merch. Fucking hell.. I think they’re actually done for.

 

New band anvilchandelier have dropped an EP where Connie appears on the final track. She apparently made the cover artwork for them too.

 

Really sucks and hurts to see the band end (I assume? Can't imagine they'd continue without her), but excited to follow future projects from her

 

There are allegations out there against Connie

Yeah, fuck that. Glad this band is done and obviously they were headed in a bad direction for a long time. Enjoyed the music they made, but this is a hard no for me.

I’m so tired of getting invested in a band only for them to have members who are genuine pieces of shit.

 

This is extremely disappointing. She was trans representation in the scene.

Fuuuuuuuuuck.

First and foremost, it’s horrendous that Connie put this person through that.

Reading this hurts. SYSC isn’t a band anymore, but they meant so much to so many people. And they were brilliant. This undoes so much joy they’ve brought me.

More importantly, I hope Connie’s ex is safe and supported through all of this.

 

Say what you want about this situation, but at the very least I’d hope we could all agree throwing a plate in someone’s direction is domestic violence even if the object missed the intended target.

Clearly there’s some seemingly reluctant damage control going on here which may further be indicative of emotional manipulation from Connie. Sad situation all around.
