It's probably important as well to include that it's been 2 vocalists in a row with allegations and they've done shows with Jonny Craig since as well
And Tillian didn't even leave the band because of the allegations, he went on a hiatus and then the band brought him back in within the same year. He only left the band 2 years after for stuff outside of that.
Not Kurt sorry, just that Jonny and Tillian both had allegations and they kept playing with both (Jonny specifically after less attention was being paid to him) I don't know of anything directed at Kurt and have heard good things about him (not that that means it's impossible but you know what I mean)
Either way the way DGD dealt with the whole situation makes them complicit in the ordeal, at least in my eyes. If they took a hard stance against it then it would have been a different story. Their blasé attitude tainted them
u gotta make $$$ some times i guess? curious to hear more but yeah it's different to be associated on a very public level like that feels like endorsement
What did Pure Noise and band management secure this billing and the fee without input from the band? Or a few band members were fine with it and Connie was vetoed so SYSC(TM) the corp did it? Or are they they far behind on their advance recoupment they had no other financial choice? feels like it’s one of those…I’d “hope”
I’d be interested to know what the PN label contract looks like. It’d be negligent oversight if SYSC’s lawyers didn’t remediate a clause for band veto of tour billing or something. I’d suspect PN’s contract is overly restrictive if they have no say
Fuuuuuuuuuck Poor Connie, if she does leave more power to her and I hope she lands fully on her feet with a kickass new project
I literally just got the "Fight Their Oppressors" shirt like a week ago after waiting months for more sizes to be back in stock too
