This wasn't quite what I had in mind when I said that I want to see Hawthorne Heights open for some bands.
Hawthorne Heights Saying Sorry Gravestones Common Crook Pens And Needles Hollow Hearts Unite Niki FM Bring You Back Decembers Ohio Is For Lovers First time seeing them acoustic and they were great. This was the most disrespectful crowd I have ever been in however. It was very packed and the entire venue seemed to talk over every band. During Secondhand Serenade there was this drunk guy that thought he was so clever by shouting random things out during the set. Overall I had a good time and Ronnie from RJA sounded great.
That looks like they set they did on the December tour which was acoustic also Edit it was but not that order
I was amazed how packed the Dallas show was last night. It seemed like a lot were there for Kenny Holland and Hawthorne Heights. Overall a good show minus the guy that kept screaming get over yourself to just about every band.
Due to the incoming storm, tomorrow's (Tuesday) show in New York City at Webster Hall with Secondhand Serenade has been cancelled. We are bummed and will see you as soon as we can!
This was such a good show but a real shitty crowd. Super intimate, in a small venue. But man, I have NEVER seen so many drunk & disrespectful people. Who goes a an acoustic show to get hammered and talk throughout everyones set. I can't even count how many times the crowd was asked politely to go upstairs in the lounge if they wanted to talk. Felt bad for the bands, they seemed really frustrated but kept their cool and just sang a little louder to drown out the voices. John from Secondhand Serenade did this a cool thing and had 2 bean bags on stage next to him. He picked people every other song to come up on stage and hang out when he sang. It was different and really got the crowd into his set, as he picked people who he saw singing the loudest. Definitely go catch this tour if you can, all the bands put on a great show overall!
