Big Vibe was a… big vibe. It should have been bigger for them but unfortunately COVID and other issues screwed them over.
Did some digging and found some additional information on Reddit - seems like most of the guys have carried on with their lives individually, have families, etc. Most indications are that there isn’t any sort of additional stuff planned with this band and it doesn’t seem like they’re even signed to Pure Noise anymore. What a huge bummer. Damn.
Yeah that sucks. Big Vibe is def one of the best pop punk releases of the last few years. Would’ve been absolutely huge in 2007.
They had a good run if so. Caught them a ton between 2013-2020, it felt like they were always on the road and getting decent opening slots on some nice tours. They just never caught on and popped off like they deserved to.
Yeah there are legal issues between the old secondary vocalist and the band, that's what I heard. They basically just had to up and call it quits. I'm sure there's a lot more context, but that's the story that's out there. EDIT: We apparently had this conversation a year ago in this thread. Look there for more context.
Tour thread is saying these guys are opening for Knuckle Puck's Copacetic anniversary shows. Wonder if they are truly back..
Damn I'm not going to travel to chicago for that but thats a good sign that I'll finally get to see these songs live next year
Had a dream that Neck Deep dropped a new single and the B-side was a new Seaway song called Break Away. I woke up as I was searching Bandcamp for it.
Just spun it front to back again on this forum prompt. What a record, man. Sweet Sugar is such a fucking earworm.
