Yeah, I still spin this regularly especially on warm sunny days, just a ton of fun.

Also am I the only who thinks of the Golden Girls theme when they listen to the closer?

 

I hope one of their singles breaks through soon because their sound is huge, especially on this record.

 

They've been very quiet since the pandemic started in all regards. Aside from the holiday show

 

Yeah this thing is still top tier I really hope they do a tour soon, the videos from the holiday show looked like a blast

 

Might just put this on my best of 2021 because who gives a fuck about rules and time

 

Randomly remembered that When I Hang Up exists and have been jamming it daily for the past week. Torn between that and If I Came Back For You for my favorite Seaway track

 

Any news on this band? Kind of fell off my radar until this last album which was great

 

I don't believe they have played a single show or toured since before the pandemic

 

They did their holiday show last year but yeah I really want to see these songs live

 

Weird they haven't hit the road yet, assuming it's Canada related

 

Yeah, I'd love to see this band again. One of the most solid pop punk bands in the scene and they deserve to be way more popular.

 

Yeah their last album was easily their best. Definitely a shame they couldn’t tour it.

Big Vibe gives me a big vibe for sure.

 

I was literally wondering what was up with them since the album came out.

 

Man their last record remains so, so good. The mixing/production on it is top tier as well. Stoked to hear some new material from these guys, hopefully sometime soon.

 

Spinning this today and man, I miss these guys. Hopefully all of the legal matters get sorted out soon and they can get back on the road.

 

What issues? I hoped they were still together. This record is so damn good.

 

I believe that Patrick took them to court over use of the name after he and the band parted ways and the case has been going a looooooong time

 

Word on the street is they continued to use the Seaway name (releasing this album and by playing shows) after kicking Patrick out and it wasn’t legally settled at that time. Now they’re in a battle over misuse of name and the legal “firing” of Patrick

Amazing summer record. Damn, didn't know about the legal issues. Glad they haven't broken up though.

“If You Let Me” popped on a random playlist today and just made me shake their head that this band got so fucked over by COVID. Album is just hook after hook.
