Ah shit I gotta go downtown tomorrow
anyone got any good recs for sushi restaurants? I've only had sushi once so I don't know anything about the scene.
I go to "I Heart Sushi" in Pioneer Square since I work close to there. It's pretty good. Japonessa's a little on the fancier side, but good. Ichiro's in Magnolia is a personal fave.
I just started eating sushi this year so I may not have the best knowledge. Momiji has been a favorite of mine. Heard good things about Japonessa and Shiro's. Wasabi in Belltown was pretty good.
I pretty much ignored everyone's advice and made reservations at Kisaku in Tangletown lol
is everyone else staying at home today?
Haaaaaale yeah. there's no way i'm driving to bellevue. when my gf said 'snow' i didn't think it would be 'stay home' kind of snow.
i drove to work. it was a ghost town today
thankfully I'm off today but neither of my roommates went to work (we live in Shoreline and they work in Ballard and Everett, respectively)
Going to work right now!
aaannnnd someone just knocked over a pole next to our office. shutting down traffic in both directions. looks like the driver is ok, but that's enough for me to go home early. stay safe out there.
I was supposed to go pants shopping at Target today
Yall ready for the biggest snow storm since the 90s tomorrow?!! going to the store tonight to stock up, i'm pretty sure everyone has the same idea. can't wait for the mayhem
haha I came in here to ask this. I'm not ready at all. Any tips?
I'm gonna head to QFC tonight and stock up on a few things. I know if I go overboard, we're not even gonna get snow, so...
lol you're too late! I went to central market in shoreline last night and all the bread, cheese, milk was gone. almost all of the produce and bread are gone from other stores according to my friends' instagrams. pure insanity. you'd think we're in the apocalypse
luckily the roomies went and stocked up for all of us but man, I've seen the photos.
How much snow did everyone get? Got about 4 inches in Lower Queen Anne.
about 6 inches in Shoreline, my '99 Honda Accord made it about 20 feet out of the parking lot of my apartment complex before I gave up and had to call a coworker for a ride lol
about 6 in Capitol Hill
like 5 inches in north greenwood. tomorrow is apparently worse, which i'm kinda stoked for. i've been so cozy this weekend.
please no more snow haven't we been punished enough already
lol it's only getting worse
