The whole cast just kills it comedically, John especially. Dude is so funny in his sketch in the new I Think You Should Leave season.

Also agreed about what you said about the plot, though I wouldn't call it "dumb." I think it's pretty amazing how they pull off these crazy twists. IMO, it takes some good writing to keep the pace hurrying along like that, trying out wildly different directions while maintaining its funniness.

 

Yeah maybe “dumb” is the wrong word, but idk how else to describe things like the laurel/yanny type riff or the random “vitriol” thing haha. I get it if they want to take time driving home how much Dory is changing or how broken our legal system is, but stringing it along with stuff like that kind of erased the stakes for me for a while. Spent like all of season 3 waiting to get to whatever the real threat was, which wound up being Chip

After binging this show in July, it’s hard for me to picture it going much longer and not completely jumping the shark. Glad they’re not gonna drag it out and thankful I’ll be able to watch along week to week for the last season

This season is so fucking weird

 

Last three episodes reeeeeally swung for the fences. Crazy crazy shit. Loved it. So glad I didn't have any of that spoiled.
