The last Seahaven album was great and I really enjoyed the direction they went. I haven't been able to get into Welcome Café
I haven't seen anything from this week's shows but did some fishing and I guess during the Philly show with Man Overboard Kyle said "we'll probably never play here again" near the end of their set
The show last night in Pomona was great and they seemed really into it but they were also subdued. Kyle didn't say much. And apparently someone proposed during their set which I didn't see. I also keep seeing that last night was their final show but i definitely didn't hear or see anything about that so who knows. Also Jon Simmons was awesome and I didn't realize how much I miss B&C until he played.
I will say that seeing them play a bunch of Reverie Lagoon songs made me revisit that album and wow its really perfect.
Good new song by Welcome Cafe. Hoping for a full record at some point. I personally really dig this new shit, kinda reminds me of Arrange if anyone remembers that project from Malcom Lacey (Their Bodies in a Fog is an all-time favorite for me).
