gonna listen now I was kind of mad (petty I know) and the name is dumb but I love Seahaven ready to be blown away
What a shitty way to comeback lol I would assume they do more dates around this and hopefully release an album
It'd be nice of them to give fans a legit update along with that announcement after, you know, being radio silent for nearly two years it seems
Yeah i feel that completely..... but the way I see it, the fans are desperate for anything from them at this point so from their point of view its way easier to stay quiet, sell tickets, sell out a few shows and gain some income. I don't agree with it, but seems like thats what they're doing.
why do we need to agree to anything? their band, they can do whatever they want they don’t owe us an explanation IMO I mean, it would be great to know what their deal is, but whatever
Personally I prefer it when bands/artists disappear for a stretch and then come back. I'm excited for whatever these guys do if/when they get around to it.
A band can do what they want but it’s kinda a dick move, espescially of the music mena a lot to you. Fans listen to your stuff ,fall in love with the music, buy tickets and merch. , travel to see them live. The least they could do is take 10 minutes to write a tweet saying they’ll be inactive for a while.
Maybe "agree with" wasn't the right phrasing to use. As a fan of them, the lack of transparency sucks. For sure, they don't owe us anything in the slightest and its their band so more power to them to handle things in whatever way they see fit. I'm on the same page as you there, but after two years of nothing and then some random show announcements, it would be great at the very least to get something saying "hey we're a band again" or "this is just a one time thing and then we're putting it to rest again". They don't owe us that but its not farfetched for fans to have questions or doubts about their status as a band at this point.
Maybe they don't know if it's a one time thing, maybe they don't know if they're going to do more. These days I wouldn't blame a band for just testing the waters and seeing how the fans/audience respond before committing to more.
