Really different from halo of hurt but it’s good

 

I prefer Halo of Hurt tbh. This song sounds a lot like their early stuff (which isn’t bad per se), but I wish they drove more into the HoH stuff

 

definitely prefer the broodier moody stuff but im excited to see what the next chapter is

 

I remember hearing about this band a bit in 2020 and then forgot about them and then saw the bump in the thread and now am listening to Halo of Hurt and I am so mad at myself for not listening to this for the last 6 years

 

This rocks, I didn't connect with Halo at all but love everything else they've done

Really stoked to see them next month - listened to winter forever yesterday still a perfect album

Song slaps. If theres an LP coming with a good mix of this early sound and RL I will be psyched.

 

Halo of Hurt is what got me into the band and is my favorite of the albums but this is good too. Though not as unique or interesting as a song like "Moon" or "Dandelion". I look forward to see if the entire album has a more pop rock direction.

 

Love this, definitely reminds me of their first two projects. These guys are extremely underrated, would love for them to blow up, but I’m just happy they’re still releasing new music.

Big announcement coming tomorrow, it’s already up in international markets though.

 

new single Midnight Hour is out tomorrow, up now in nz on youtube. Not sure if it is the title track or what. Artwork is pretty cool, reminiscent of Reverie Lagoon but again not sure if thats single art or the album art. This and Long Goodbye are so damn good, best they've sounded in forever imo.

 

Hype through the roof if this record is going to sound like Long Goodbye
