Another episode where the focused dynamic was missing this season. JD/Cox are such a great pair together. I don’t think they’ll go as far as they could with this story, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if they do. Being vague on purpose.
the way they started to do the “my old lady” plot before pulling the rug out from under you…..that’s good ass tv
I just made the mistake of rewatching "My Occurrence" (the first episode of the Ben trilogy) and my afternoon is wrecked
Great finale. Good season. So happy this turned out to be as good as it is. It was great to see Janitor again and the reveal at the end was a fun little twist. "I care about this place! Blonde doctor! Bald doctor! Todd - didn't like him."
I enjoyed this season more than I thought I would after watching the trailer. The poorest episodes were fine, and the best were really fun. It was at its best when the old cast beyond JD, Elliot and Turk were able to play off one another. The whole Janitor toaster bit in the final episode felt like classic Scrubs. Having said all that, I know there are strong, reasonable arguments for Elliot and JD breaking up, but them retconning one of the most beautiful, brilliant endings to any TV show in history will never sit right with me.
gotta assume the twist was not true, right? Lol and yeah this was great. I think some of the pacing was off for me with the stories and I think most of that was due to the fact that they knew they only had 9 episodes to work with so they wanted to make sure they did things nice and neat, especially if they didn’t get another chance with it. This almsot felt/worked like a pilot 9 episodes for a series I think. I really hope we get a new, full season, and I assume we will with how well received this was. I don’t know if Rooster is supposed to be a multi-season show, but if it is, I wonder how the time constraints will work on that with Lawrence and McGinley and Braff who directed at least two of the episodes
