I see some snow scenes but when Lucas lee is skateboarding it looks like sunny and palm trees

The movie is one of my all-time favorites but I have weirdly never read the comics, is the movie like a large chunk of them or just a small part of the series?

Either way I absolutely cannot wait for this

 

The movie covers all 6 comics but condenses it a LOT, especially in the 2nd half. Number 6 in particular is basically all stuff that didn’t make the movie (the movie actually came out before it was released).

 

O'Malley said this isn't a cut and paste of comics and is bringing in new elements.

I'm trying to find the quote, but now I'm thinking it was on one of his IG stories. I mean the trailer looks just like the comic, but as someone pointed out - the Lucas Lee scene takes place not in Canada (palm trees and such).
