it’s truly one of the most heartwarming shows and so genuinely funny. I’m so glad they went out on the highest note.
I'm midway through Season 3... gotta ask, does it get funnier yet? It's a cute little show but the jokes linger in the air for way too long, and I expected an Emmy-sweeping show would be... more of a true riot. Moira and Alexis carry the show with their little quips, Eugene and Dan Levy are way too predictable as characters to be funny IMO, and Stevie is a one-note tune
i get why you would except that based on “comedy” category, but very few of the nominated shows are, like, sunny where it’s a nonstop laugh fest. good place included
I think they came in with such fully formed characters that it takes you as the viewer a little bit to get used to what everyone is doing. I definitely find the earlier episodes funnier after having seen the full series than I did the first watch through.
Moira's wine commercial killed me, "dazzling peach crayyyebbapple" Also "colostomy bag pants" should be their official name
Finished the series tonight. What a hell of a charming show full of heart and amazing comedic performances.
Well I was pretty much in tears for the entirety of the last two episodes This was such a perfect feel good show and I'm sad it's gone
Fuck. If you haven’t watched the little Schitts Creek documentary on Netflix, buckle up. It made me cry just as much as the the last few episodes did. Gahhhh! Wasn’t expecting it to killllll me!
The episode with Alexis and Ted in the diner was the most emotional for me. Such a unique way to leave their relationship. Lesser shows would have drawn it out
Spent this last week finally watching the last season such a great show. deserves all the love its gotten
Binged all six seasons in like two weeks and finally finished on Sunday; soooo good. Moira’s dialogue throughout the last season was absolute fire. Sucks to see the show end while at the top of their game, but don’t think they could have taken the stories further. On my list of top TV comedies I’ve seen, New Girl is #1, Brooklyn Nine-Nine is #2, and Schitt’s Creek is #3
Finished Schitt's Creek a few weeks ago and finally watched the little making of doc. I teared up, yes, at the sad parts, but more so at the parts where they're covering the live show. To get that stage view of a crowd of people definitely affected me more than I expected.
