I mean, I buy it, but without the proof, which they can't provide (which I understand if it's not their stories to tell), nothing really can be done. This is basically just stuff that's been told multiple times over the years.

 

Obviously Max needs to get serious help here, but I just hope the kids end up okay through all of this. I’ve read some posts in the subreddit over time and the way those kids have no structured/organized life, no schooling, etc. makes me worried for their future.

…and Max acting the way he has been according to that post is clearly not helping the kids AT ALL.

 

I feel very bad for those kids.

 

I was already out, but that takes it to a level of criminality/sociopathy. Some of those things are pretty known but the intent to harm parts are disturbing. Hope that's not true, but I feel like anyone still on the Say Anything train doesn't track Max's behavior as important to them listening.

 

I think the "the Bemis family is a Christian cult" just seems like unnecessary flavor added to it

 

Evangelical Christian cults do have a strong history of abuse so that’s how I took it.

We should just focus on the fact that he's done these things, they have proof and they shouldn't be allowed to tour and such
