Evermore is a crock of shit to boot, its just the outro to "Plea" repeated ad nauseum, you can even sing "Maybe someday we together can be the king and queen" over it

The time for this guy to be worthy of anyone's money has long since come and gone

This is fucking weird. There's no way I'm listening through those... I don't even know what to call them. Rants? If Max is bankrupt he owes it to his kids to either get a "real" job, or bring back Say Anything because I don't think the solo project is going to sell nearly as much as a SA record/tour would. But at this point, I think I may honestly be in the minority of fans who would still pay to see a SA show. So I don't even know that it would matter. It sucks seeing him continuously dig a deeper hole for himself. I'm a huge fan of every SA record, I'm possibly the only person who has an Anarchy, My Dear tattoo. But like... this is just weird. His behavior has always been strange, but it seems to have only gotten weirder since the last SA record.

 

This isn't "weird behavior" though, this is severe mental illness on full display. I'm listening and it's horrible. He just described imagining Sherri "meeting somebody" at rehab and how enraged he would be by that, and then said he's sure they'll be together forever. He's talking about his wife's private personal life without her permission... because she's in a facility. This is somebody who is sick and toxic and needs help.

 

Remember when they got $100k+ on kickstarter and never delivered everything? Yeah I’m not surprised.

 

Feels like he really doesn’t know how to cope without Sherri, which is hard to watch/listen to. I mean, he’s definitely gone through manic spells in public before and it feels like Sherri has really pulled him out of those in the past. Hope everything is ok, especially for the kids.

honestly that’s kinda my thought. I’m not sure why he isn’t releasing it as SA if he’s in need of money because it would probably get the new record to sell more and make him more money… releasing it as Maxim Mental is gonna make it go under the radar

that’s only touching on the financial difficulties he’s discussing and nothing else about what he wrote or discusses

 

I'm not gonna bother listening to this but someone said in the 2nd part he did get Sherris permission to share this.

 

I feel like this might be a case of her saying it's ok but not knowing just how much detail he went into

 

It’s one thing for him to overshare about his own struggles but it definitely seems weird to be sharing all this about his wife especially while she’s still in treatment. But it’s just sad to watch things unfold like this. I truly just hope they can both find peace and health, and - more than anything - that those kids are being taken good care of.

 

Cool, well, if you did listen to it, you'd realize she may not have realized what she was giving permission for him to say, because he says some weird shit about their relationship.
