Oh dope. Hopefully this is the solo album. I’ve been waiting for what feels like forever for that to be announced.
Okay, apparently it’s an EP. Project name is Maxim Mental, EP is just called “Fucking”. Track info and shit leaked. https://www.reddit.com/r/SayAnythin...d_this_maxs_new_project_maxim_mental_will_be/
well at least it isn't self produced! Co-written and produced by grammy winner and longtime collaborator Will Yip https://www.roughtrade.com/us/maxim-mental/fucking
How did this guy go from the person I thought was most in tuned with where my mind was at in the IARB through Hebrew days to literally the person least in tuned with where my mind is. This title is terrifying. What are these song titles? What the hell is the name of this thing? Plus it's some 23 dollar vinyl scam of course that he'll probably not put on spotify to scam his 1,000 fans still left. Ugh. Gross. What happened to this guy.
https://jackpotrecords.com/products/maxim Debut solo EP from Max Bemis of Say Anything. Co-written and produced by grammy winner and longtime collaborator Will Yip (Code Orange, Title Fight, Turnstile). Being released first for RSD, the timing will coincide perfectly with the release of the Maxim Mental full-length, currently slated for Q2 2022 making this a limited edition vinyl-only companion piece highly sought-after for Max’s variant collector fanbase. Manufactured to be in high demand, this RSD First exclusive variant will be pressed on translucent pink vinyl with an etched b-side and include alternate artwork, also exclusive to this RSD First variant.
Are the song titles any worse/different than "This is Fucking Ecstasy" or "R******* in Love?" Also, if you think $23 is a lot for a RSD release (even an EP) or that it's not common for them to be vinyl exclusives...I have news for you lol. It's okay to just not listen.
No, but he also wrote those songs like 15 years ago so I thought he may have, I don't know, matured since then.
Also, it's not that it's a vinyl exclusive, it's the fact that we've never heard this project before and I don't want to buy a limited edition vinyl of something I may not like.
