Self-titled is phenomenal. In Defense is probably my second favorite due to it being nostalgic.

While I enjoy IARB, I didn’t listen to it until years later so I don’t have any sort of attachment to it.

    Probably a basic ranking but:

    ...Is a Real Boy
    Say Anything
    In Defense of the Genre
    Oliver Appropriate
    Hebrews
    I Don't Think It Is
    Anarchy, My Dear

I was half expecting that ranking just to be the albums in release order haha

I'm alright with calling Anarchy, My Dear their worst album. It just fell so flat at a time when their trajectory was so high, it seems like every album since then has at least been an unexpected surprise

I think there are way more listenable songs on Anarchy than there are on IDTII

IDTII sucks real bad and Anarchy has a handful of pretty damn good songs

I think S/T is his best record. Means a lot to me and I just genuinely think it's his best collection of songs

They’re about to have an army of emo kids to defend the genre with.

  13. Playing IARB daily this week after not listening to it for a few years and loving every minute of it.

  14. And I still hate IDOTG! I don't know why!

  17. Some great stuff. But it didn’t need to be a double album. There’s mostly forgettable stuff on it. IARB is the only solid SA album front to back.

There’s maybe 2-3 songs I would cut from In Defense but that’s it. There’s so much to love on that album.

Does anyone have a list of songs featuring Max? I'm trying to remember which band done the song "Songs About" and had an album about pirates or something because it was insanely weird but good.
