I didn’t get into Say Anything until S/T late 2009 so maybe that has something to do with not loving ...IARB as much as the majority. Don’t get me wrong, I love it and do think it’s one of their best, but I think some of his other albums are right up there with it (S/T, and Hebrews).

IDTII was an album full of good ideas and passable songs, but then it was all thrown in a blender and ruined

17 Coked Up and Speeding, Rum, So Numb, and #blessed are great Say Anything songs.

The record has some fillers and some odd production but it's far from a bad record if you ask me. It has unnecessary hate.

The Bret Easton Ellis School of Witchcraft and Wizardry might be one of the most underrated Say Anything songs. Attaboy, 17 Coked Up, So Numb, Goshua and Rum are all great too. I'm gonna listen to this now

In the Tour Speculation forum, there’s a rumor going around that the Senses Fail/Say Anything tour has been cancelled. I choose not to believe it.

I'm in the pretty biased camp of liking everything Say Anything. Can't say everything Max has done but I do support him. The albums he makes are always a stab at making something more creative and different than before and I respect the directions he takes. Nothing will compare to the Baseball/IARB/IDOTG era that Max helped me go through. To see an artist struggle in the same way I struggled and to come out basically on top was welcoming and those albums made my teenage years.

Moving on to Self-Titled/Anarchy/Hebrews/IDTII, those albums, although diverse, have also shaped my musical taste and whilst I agree that they aren't on the same calibre as before I can honestly say that they still cement my opinion of SA being my favourite band of all time. Hebrews was an album that was totally different and, for me, it worked. There was diversity, lyrical advances, and some hard sounds. IDTII was raw and gritty and the opposite of this and I still managed to enjoy both by not comparing them to previous albums.

Obviously everyone has a different creative trait that they are comparing it too and that is respectful. Just thought i'd throw my opinion in.

I love Rum. Top 5 SA track for me, from a very strong list

The ending of Attaboy reminds me Goodbye, Young Tutor.

Oh, and I forgot about Varicose Visage, which I love. It’s so minimal but gets me pumped

I don't think Say Anything have bad albums. I think they have IARB and anything that's not quite as good.

  15. One of those projects is almost certainly Two Tongues

  16. I've got a hunch that this record is going to be really special.

I would love for SA to be released on 10/26 as well. I would freak having new SA and STD on same day

I can’t take my wife’s expected delivery date, Red Dead Redemption 2, and new SA all on the same day. One of those things takes precedent.

My nephew was due to be born 1st August 2014 and Guardians of the Galaxy was released on July 31st. I remember sitting in the IMAX and being so worried i'd get the call to say he'd been born and miss what was my most anticipated movie :crylaugh:

  24. Huge thanks to this thread for reading it (both then and now) and being so supportive of the idea at the time! There aren't many of my own pieces that I actually enjoy revisiting, but this is one of them.

A second installment with Ian Cohen got scrapped during the transcription process, but it's definitely a concept I'd like to bring back very soon.

On the Say Anything reddit someone used TouchTunes and found a SA song titled "Daze" with art. Don't know the legitimacy of this however it's below.
