Is Dine Alone a bigger label? I'm surprised they left Equal Vision he even had his own label under them Rory Records

 

dine alone is a very big canadian label and not so big here

but they do massive city and colour pressings in canada

 

Still think Rum is one of the best things Max has ever written

Anyways this is weird (signing to Dine Alone) but exciting none the less. I hope he drops a single and album announcement/pre order on Friday!

Surprised by the move l, did not expect Equal Vision to drop (I assume) the band given the relationship. However, I will always have time for a new SA album and I feel the quality is on the up. Any word or rumours of a single?

 

I had no idea the drummer for the IDOTG anniversary tour was another DuPree. How many of them are there? Geez.

I didn't even know Dine Alone did US stuff since I only know them as the Canadian label for Flatliners, Dirty Nil etc

 

Imagine this being breaking news that Dine Alone bought EVR :-o

 

Someone on reddit said that Max estimated the new record to be out October during one of the Australia In Defense shows. Which is a bit of a bummer if true. That seems way far off.

 

He has said at a few shows before it would be summer, so yeah it definitely would be a bummer

 

I feel like I remember that October rumor coming out like last September, but for October 2017, because I specifically remember thinking it didn't seem right because I knew it wasn't supposed to be until this year. If I had to guess I'd say a single soon and the album in early June.

 

Say Anything records should always be released during Summer IMO.

I always forget Kenny Bridges has been playing in Say Anything. I still throw on The Red Tree from time to time.
